Why do foreigners choose Spain?

Citizens of these countries usually buy a home in Spain for holiday use. The high degree of coincidence between the countries that lead the entry of international tourists to Spain and the nationalities of home buyers is noteworthy. This correlation suggests that these tourists, many of them retirees, after spending their holidays in Spain repeatedly, decide to acquire a second home. The main reasons that lead them to decide are the climate and quality of life, the high perceived safety and good air transport connections with their countries of origin. In the last decade, these factors were added to the attractiveness of the Spanish real estate sector after the significant adjustment experienced by house prices during the worst years of the crisis. In other words, for foreign citizens from economies less affected by the crisis than the Spanish one, buying a home in Spain was more accessible and a good investment opportunity.
